Basketball Court Fence at Shenzhen Houhai Sports and Leisure Fitness Plaza

The Shenzhen Houhai Sports and Leisure Fitness Plaza is located at the intersection of Center Road and Keyuan Road in Nanshan District, Shenzhen. It is a comprehensive public space integrating leisure, fitness, and sports activities, surrounded by many residential areas and office buildings, attracting a large number of citizens year-round for fitness and entertainment. As one of the core facilities in the plaza, the basketball court is heavily used daily, especially by teenagers and community residents. In order to ensure the safety of the basketball court, particularly during peak hours, and to prevent basketballs from flying off the court or unauthorized people from entering the sports area, the management decided to install a fence around the court to improve safety and prevent accidents.

The fence construction used UHS-1007 precision steel stamping fittings. The fence height is 4.5 meters, providing strong stability and impact resistance to effectively isolate the sports area from the surrounding environment. The fence is made with steel wire mesh coated with anti-rust treatment, which helps resist corrosion from environmental factors, ensuring long-lasting durability and aesthetics. The mesh has appropriately sized openings to ensure visibility while preventing basketballs from leaving the court. The fence also features a specially designed anti-climb mechanism that effectively prevents unauthorized individuals from climbing over, ensuring the enclosure's integrity and minimizing security risks.

To make the fence blend seamlessly with the surrounding environment and building style, a modern, minimalist design was adopted, contributing to the beautification of the space. After the fence installation, the safety of the basketball court at Shenzhen Houhai Sports and Leisure Fitness Plaza was significantly improved. The new fence reduced the frequency of basketballs flying out of the court and prevented people from entering the court during peak hours, avoiding interference with ongoing activities. More importantly, the anti-climb feature enhanced the enclosure's security, preventing accidents and increasing the overall safety for players.
