The 2024 Anping International Wire Mesh Expo was successfully held at the Anping County International Convention and Exhibition Center from October 22 to 24. The event featured 450 wire mesh product and machinery manufacturers from 18 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions across China participating offline, while 560 exhibitors showcased their offerings in the online exhibition hall. Over 40,000 domestic and international buyers attended the event, including more than 520 foreign guests from 56 countries and regions. On the opening day alone, 560 procurement and intention orders were signed, amounting to a total of 1.16 billion yuan. Over the three-day period, the Expo achieved sales intentions worth 3.84 billion yuan, with exhibition transaction volumes reaching 1.43 billion yuan.
The Anping International Wire Mesh Expo stands as the only global event dedicated to the wire mesh industry. Over its 23-year history, it has continuously enhanced its internationalization and professional standards, strengthening its influence and driving power. The Expo has become a vital platform for product display, trade negotiations, and technological innovation within the global wire mesh industry.
This year's Expo embraced the national concepts of "digitalization, intelligence, sustainability, and service" under the theme "Intelligent Manufacturing, Building and Sharing Together." Over 40 new products, devices, technologies, and materials were showcased, ranging from everyday fences and gabion nets to industrial hardware, mining equipment, and air purification filters. The Expo also served as a bridge for technical and intellectual exchange, propelling the wire mesh industry forward amid the wave of technological advancements.
During the event, two international procurement matchmaking activities were organized, bringing together buyers from countries such as Saudi Arabia, Austria, France, and Germany for one-on-one negotiations. These efforts resulted in 26 prepayment orders with a total transaction value of $12.204 million. Sub-events, including the "Wire Mesh Industry Outlook and International Supply-Demand Exchange" and the "Supply Chain Management and Global Trade Training," further expanded international cooperation and showcased the industry's innovative achievements and future prospects.
Moving forward, Anping County aims to accelerate the development of a modern industrial cluster characterized by substantial scale, complete industrial chains, advanced technology, strong collaboration, and superior product quality.
